Intelligence is the most important thing which we use to differentiate individual human from other humans and sometime from other species too. But comparing humans with other species on the basis of Intelligence is always a debatable topic. Keeping that debate aside we can consider Humans as the most intellectual species on Earth.
This Intelligence is the integral part of Human and now we want to impart this intelligence to the MACHINES i.e. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.
Sometimes one question bother me why we keep on discovering new things/technology etc. The answer which I found is the Fear Of Extinction. Yes we always have a fear that someday, someone from other planet in multiverse will overpower us and then gradually destroy us for that reason we keep on developing ourselves because we don’t know about potential of our opponent.
May be this is the reason we are working on artificial intelligence so that at least we can have huge population of intellectual species. (Pure Fictional at present but future is full of possibilities).
My first doubt is Isn’t this is early to impart intelligence to machines as even today we know very little about the puzzling brain. And secondly will we succeed? If yes then can artificial intelligence will act like a human brain’s intelligence?
I believe that it’s impossible to build replica of Human Brain.
Answer of why I believe this, is the reason of this blog.
Back in 2007, when I was in class Eighth, I suffered from Typhoid. Doctor suggested that I should take only liquid diets(juices etc.) which are easy to digest and at the same time they provide sufficient calories to make body normal and keep fighting with virus. Chapati, lentils, sabji, rice nothing was allowed.
For a guy from Rajasthan and especially from Bhilwara district region, chapati and sabji is mandatory in every meal. Rice is cooked only on special occasions. Staying away from chapati and sabji for such a guy is a nightmare.
After approx 20 days doctor allowed to include chapati and sabji in diet with some conditions i.e.
1) half chapati was allowed per meal.
2) maximum part of diet should be liquid.
I or we agreed as craving for chapati and sabji was increasing exponentially day by day.
That day my mother prepared Loki’s (Bottle Gourd) sabji for meal. I never liked Loki’s sabji previously so I straight forwardly declined that meal. But my inner voice started screaming that let it be, whatever it is, have it. I listened to it and changed my mind. After having first, small bite of sabji, the taste buds sent the signals to brain and demanded more. I finished that half chapati and sabji within seconds.
Parents shocked brain rocked.π
I don’t know, taste buds messaged what to my brain that my response to Loki changed completely.
Below is the pic how taste is transmitted to the brain.

From that day till now Loki sabji is one of my favorite sabji. Even when I go home now for 2-3 days I always have Loki sabji in one meal. Apart from sabji, Loki halwa is my favourite desert now. Sometimes I especially instruct my mother for making Loki kofta for breakfast.

Before typhoid Loki wasn’t my cup of tea but after recovering from typhoid that first bite of Loki’s sabji made Loki’s sabji my cup of tea.
How such transformation take place i.e. complete dislike to complete like within a seconds is non explainable. This is how brain works. Mysteriously!
Similarly answer of how Love happened at first sight is mystery.π
P.S. : I know, I again failed to convey my message through this blog. For those who didn’t get what I want to convey, in next line I will summarise the message.
Sometimes it’s not possible to understand how the brain did something incredible. And in support of this I shared my story of how some neurones changed my perception about Loki’s sabji.

Bhai ye baat to sahi hai ki human brain aisa hai ki sirf nature hi isko manufacture kar sakti hai.

Are to sirf human brain ko hi replicate karne ka kaam thodi hota hai AI se. Aur bhi bahut kaam kar sakte ho AI se, continue the course.
